Relationships Australia’s venture into community-business partnerships enhances its capacity to achieve results for the benefit of the Australian community.
A partnership enables Relationships Australia to extend its work in the community beyond government funding. It provides opportunities for Relationships Australia to engage in community education and other activities that support its vision of promoting positive and respectful relationships for all Australians.
Similarly, it enables future business partners to contribute their time and resources for the benefit of the Australian community; promoting and realising their values by being an active, socially responsible corporate citizen.
Together, community and business embark on a partnership with values and vision alike, working towards one goal – to affect positive, personal change by building better relationships.
Relationships Australia and CUA (Credit Union Australia) Partnership
We are pleased to announce a new community-business partnership between Relationships Australia and CUA (Credit Union Australia), Australia’s largest member-owned financial institution.
The three-year, national partnership program titled Invest in Your Relationships – Add Value to Your Life, will arm Australians with the life skills and resources to affect positive, personal change by building better relationships.
CUA
is passionate about working with the Australian community to make a
change for the better. CUA will sponsor some major events celebrating
Relationships Australia’s 60th Anniversary in 2008 and will provide
resources for a community education campaign around the partnership
theme and special community seminars and events over the next 2-3
years.
The launch of our partnership will coincide with a
national photographic competition which was announced in the Weekend
Australian Magazine on 31 May 2008. This will be the first of many
public appearances for CUA as a partner to Relationships Australia.
