Employee Assistance Program - Canberra & Region
Counselling support program for employees.
This is a service offered to organisations who would like to establish a counselling support program for employees. The purpose of the Employee Assistance Program is to promote personal well-being and quality of human relationships in the workplace in order to enhance work life.
There are two types of agreement:
- A Memorandum of Understanding – whereby a written agreement is formulated with terms and conditions relevant to the specific organisation. It is important to note that the Relationships Australia Canberra and Region will only negotiate a Memorandum of Understanding that allows for complete confidentiality of the employee’s attendance. The appointment is arranged by the employee.
- Authority Letter – this is an agreement for occasional or ad-hoc services. The service is arranged by the organisation on behalf of the employee through a letter of authority.
