Sexual Concerns Counselling - SA
A specialist counselling service for individuals and couples who have concerns about their sexuality and/or their sexual relationships.
Who can benefit from counselling?
Individuals or couples wishing to address any of the following concerns:
- Differences in levels of sexual desire
- Loss of sexual desire
- Painful intercourse (including vaginismus)
- Inability to achieve orgasm
- Erectile difficulties such as rapid ejaculation, inability to achieve or maintain an erection
- Sexual functioning affected by:
- Chronic illness
- Surgery
- Disability
- The ageing process
- Child sexual abuse
- Confusion with sexual orientation
- Problematic compulsion, for example: towards sex, pornography, cyber sex, love.
How do we provide our service?
A telephone counselling service is available, by appointment, to individuals and couples who choose to receive their counselling via the telephone, or those who live in rural and remote communities in South Australia.
Face to face appointments are available at Relationships Australia (SA)’s Adelaide and Ridgehaven offices.
Hearing and language interpreters are available upon request.
