Gambling Help Service - SA
The Gambling Help Service is open to all people who are affected by problem gambling, including children, family members and friends who are concerned also.
Once someone has taken the first step forward and called us to make an appointment, we can help to identify what caused a gambling problem to begin with. From there, we can plan and assist people to make the steps needed to help them either get their gambling under control or stop it altogether.
Warning signs
Gambling is considered a problem if:
- someone is spending more than he or she can afford to lose
- gambling interferes with important relationships
- gambling is no longer enjoyable, and the person feels anxious or stressed.
How do we help?
We have helped many people to find solutions to their gambling problem – and have supported them to either stop gambling altogether, or regain control of it.
