Relationship support services and courses for men in Tasmania.
We offer a range of services for men, including:
TassieMale
The TassieMale program aims to support Tasmanian men when they have questions and concerns about life matters such as family and personal relationships, health or work issues. The program includes telephone and face-to-face counselling, education groups, community education and other resources.
Education Courses
Relationships Australia Tasmania offers courses to assist people to enhance relationships at home, at work or in the general community. Courses cover a range of topics including personal development, parenting, communicating with partners, managing separation, stepfamilies and workplace difficulties.
Parenting Orders Program
The Parents in Contact Service assists parents to develop contact arrangements and parenting plans that are child focused. The service provides one-to-one support, education, information and referral for parents who are encountering difficulties when attempting to make contact arrangements for their children following a relationship breakdown. Courses for parents are available to assist them to remain child focused when dealing with contact arrangements.
Children's Contact Services
This program helps facilitate contact arrangements for children to ensure ongoing contact with both parents after separation. The program uses a purpose built and staffed centre to enable changeovers and supervised visits to occur within a safe and structured setting when parents are unable to do this independently.
