Family Relationship Counselling - SA

A summary of the Family Relationship Counselling service offered by Relationships Australia South Australia.

Relationship counselling offers opportunities for individuals, couples and families to explore, and possibly change, various aspects of their lives and relationships.

Our aim is to promote respectful, just and equal relationships.

Counselling is useful for:

  • improving self confidence
  • expanding couple communication and dealing with differences and conflict
  • addressing concern about closeness in family relationships
  • improving parent and child relationships
  • coping with separation, loss and grief
  • repairing or strengthening workplace relationships
  • overcoming trauma and challenges in life
  • preparing for relationships.

How is the service provided?

The service is provided by appointment at Relationships Australia (SA) offices, both metropolitan and regional, at the following locations:

  • Adelaide
  • Hindmarsh
  • Ridgehaven
  • Elizabeth
  • Marion
  • Berri
  • Mount Gambier
  • Noarlunga

A telephone counselling service is provided by appointment to those in rural and remote communities or to those who choose to receive their counselling this way.

Hearing and language interpreters are available upon request.
