Children's Contact Service - SA

The Children's Contact Service (SA) aims to support parents to develop their own ways of managing contact arrangements that are in the best interests of their children. For example, staff may provide information or speak to parents about alternative ways to manage their contact arrangements or refer parents to other services, such as mediation, to negotiate a parenting plan.

We also provide:

• Separate intake appointments for each parent
• Orientation visits for the children
• Staff who are professional and child-focused
• An established child care centre with toys, games and equipment
• Practical, sensible security, including separate entrances for each parent.

Where and when does it operate?

The Changeover Service and Supervised Contact operates from three different locations:

• 49a Orsmond Street, Hindmarsh, 5007
• 27 Ann Street, Salisbury, 5108
• 9 Kay Avenue, Berri, 5343

Changeovers occur during the following times:

Friday 5.00pm - 6.30pm
Saturday 10.00am - 5.30pm
Sunday 10.00am - 6.00pm

Specific changeover and supervised contact times will need to be negotiated with the service prior to attending.
