Venue Manager - Rockhampton, QLD

We are currently seeking applications for the full-time role of Venue Manager for our Rockhampton venue. Providing high quality mediation and counselling services to individuals and families this venue needs someone with the vision and experience to truly impact on the broader community. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience and qualifications in the social and behavioural sciences and also previous experience in the management of others.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Manage and oversee employees engaged in the provision of services at the specified venue;
- Ensure staff participate in all aspects of clinical supervision and assist staff with preparation for their clinical review, in consultation with clinical leaders;
- In consultation with clinical leaders, determine employee training needs and arrange and deliver staff training sessions as required;
- Drive recruitment and selection processes for venue vacancies, ensuring positions are filled in a timely manner;
- Schedule and conduct personal performance reviews and manage staff performance in consultation with Human Resources;
- Oversee the maintenance of venue assets including premises, reception, furnishings, staff equipment etc;
- Negotiate operational plans for the venue;
- Manage venue resources to meet negotiated targets;
- Promote the services of the venue and program to the community and to referral sources as required;
- Promote and facilitate effective communication between the venue and other parts of RA
The successful applicant will be awarded a salary circa $59,576 plus a fully maintained vehicle, super and generous salary packaging which will significantly increase the value of take-home pay.
