TIR Operator - Call Centre, Eight Mile Plains, QLD
Relationships Australia has been providing counselling and education services for close to 60 years. We are currently seeking applications for multiple full-time roles as Telephone Information Referral (TIR) Operators for our call centre located at Eight Mile Plains. TIR Operators provide a critical link between our clients and the various services offered by Relationships Australia.
This role will provide quality information to callers and make referrals and bookings for clients to the various programs and services offered by Relationships Australia.
The key areas of responsibility for this role include:
· Providing a responsive service showing a high degree of understanding for our clients issues.
· Conducting client assessments of client needs in order to make appropriate referrals.
· Attending crisis calls by linking referring the caller to an appropriate counsellor or partner service.
· Record and maintain client records in our database system.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service, an excellent telephone manner, problem solving skills, a mature attitude and advanced computer literacy. Similar work within a community organisation would be an advantage but not essential.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or current student in the behavioural and social sciences to gain valuable experience and contacts within this industry.
The successful applicants will receive a salary of circa $39,219 as well as generous salary packaging which significantly increases the value of take-home earnings.
