We are currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Relationship Counsellor for our Southport venue, this role can also be split into two part-time (19 hours per week) roles based on negotiation with applicants.
The role of Relationship Counsellor works directly with couples and families providing support and assistance helping them with the issues they present with.
The major responsibilities of this position include:
- The utilisation of a systems theory framework in the counselling process and also the application of other models as appropriate
- Application of couple specific issues to the counselling process
- The utilisation of appropriate interventions and links to a treatment plan that is congruent with the need to the couple or family
The successful applicant for this role will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in the social or behavioural sciences and demonstrated experience and theoretical knowledge of working with clients in a variety of settings. Previous case management experience and effective time management skills are also essential.
The successful applicant will be awarded a salary circa $43,552 plus superannuation and generous salary packaging which will significantly increase the value of take-home pay.
