Parenting Orders Program (POP) Case Coordinator - Rockhampton, QLD
Relationships Australia has been providing counselling and education services for 60 years. We are currently seeking applications for the full-time role of Parenting Orders Program (POP) Case Coordinator operating from our Rockhampton venue. The POP program is a service provided to separated parents who require assistance to help facilitate access to their children.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Conduct client assessment and intake of client needs to make appropriate referrals, provide relevant information and make client appointments.
- Develop and implement case management plans for clients, whilst maintaining child focussed practice.
- Liaise with children’s contact services, community organisations, courts and others to establish and maintain referral protocols
Applicants must possess tertiary qualifications in the social or behavioural sciences, and have experience working with families in high conflict situations. The successful candidate will also have proven time management skills, ensuring management of caseloads and waiting lists, excellent assessment skills, and demonstrated ability to work within a child focused practice framework.
