Youth Diversion Program Case Worker

An exciting opportunity exists to join Relationships Australia NT (RANT), as a caseworker with the Youth Diversion Program.

RANT is part of one of Australia’s largest community-based organisations. RANT’s vision is to create communities where relationships are respectful; diversity is valued and all people have a true sense of connection and belonging. As a member of this successful Alice Springs based team you will be an integral part of providing opportunities to young people to improve their life skills; through various diversion programs.

As a caseworker you will be responsible for:

·        Providing assessment interviews for participants referred to the program

·        Raising  awareness of the communities role in diversion programs

·        Providing individual services to young people in the target group

The successful applicant will have experience in working with youth on;

  • issues regarding youth disadvantage.
  • knowledge of and ability to utilise a range of community resources.
  • ability to work as a team member within RANT; with the possession of appropriate qualifications highly regarded.

Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
