Family Relationship Centre Manager
An exciting opportunity exists to join the staff of Relationships Australia NT as Manager of the Family Relationship Centre (FRC), Darwin. FRCs are a significant part of the Australian Government’s Family Law reforms and this is the only FRC planned for the NT. It opened in July 2006 and is operated by Relationships Australia NT in partnership with Anglicare NT.
The Manager is responsible to the CEO of Relationships Australia NT for the day to day operation and further development of the centre. The FRC has around 10 staff including Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners, Intake Officers, Indigenous Advisors and Educators based at the Darwin centre and the Alice Springs outlet.
The successful applicant will possess tertiary qualifications in social science, strong and demonstrated program management skills and experience in the development and administration of community services and. Other essential capabilities include leadership skills, a commitment to innovative and quality services, the capacity to work as part of a team and to inspire team members and the ability to form collaborative working relationships with a wide range of community groups and government agencies and to provide appropriate services to indigenous clients.
The position requires travel both within the Territory and interstate. A current driver’s licence is essential.
