The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women - also known as White Ribbon Day - is an opportunity for all of us to take action to reduce the incidence of domestic and family violence. The act of wearing a white ribbon is seen as a personal pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about domestic and family violence.
